Seven Jars Vodka
Distilled 7x… coincidence?
According to Chapter 4 of the Beverage Alcohol Manual (produced by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, also known as the TTB – for some reason the Feds showed a rare instance of restraint and didn’t call it the ATTTB), Vodka is a type of distilled spirit with a very definite description. It must be distilled at no lower than 190 Proof (95% ABV), and “…treated after distillation with charcoal or other materials so as to be without distinctive character, aroma, taste or color.” Yet we all know that there are variations in Vodka. Our Vodka offers a unique combination of column still production and pot still finish to achieve a distinctive clean, fresh character. The process results in a spirit that is distilled seven times – which is actually a great nod to the seven jars that gave us our name!
